TINDER

THE ASK: As part of the National Student Advertising Competition, Tinder asked us how we would introduce Tinder to Gen Z.

THE INSIGHT: Almost without warning, 18 and 19 year olds are expected to become adults overnight.

THE IDEA: Show them the world isn’t as scary as they think. In fact, it could be their playground.

LET’S PLAY

The Big Idea

With barely a warning, 18 and 19 year olds go from kid to adult. They unlock a tremendous amount of freedom, and suddenly, life is full of possibilities and potential. There are new opportunities to take advantage of. It’s all at their fingertips. It’s exciting. It’s kinda scary, but it’s also exhilarating.

Spirited Play Seekers want to take advantage of all this newfound freedom but they are hesitant. They need a push. They need to realize that they are young and meant to have fun. There are no expectations. There are no limitations and no judgements. Everything is an adventure. Everything is a game. And their biggest concern is finding the next opportunity for fun.

They still get to be careless without consequence, make mistakes and laugh at them, meet new people and connect. It’s a giant world out there and it’s waiting for Spirited Play Seekers to jump into it with both feet.

Tinder recognizes that the world is their playground. And Tinder is the PlayHouse that makes it all possible. So what are you waiting for?

Let’s play!
